A Memorable Raya 2013 :*
Mom's Office,
Putrajaya!
Putrajaya!
Assalamualaikum and a good afternoon i bid to all. Hahah, ceh >_<. Hmm. So, I'm going to type about how my Eid'ul Fitr went so far :D
Us, Comfydens, beraya at both Klang and Sitiawan pretty much every year :) However, there's a tad twist in this year's raya as my grandparents from Klang followed us to Perak to meet my grandparents at Sitiawan.
We were very happy coz you know, ~The more the merrier~
Tapi, sebelum tu, kitorang sempatlah jugak beraya @ Sijangkang to meet Mak Long. (Nyai's elder sister) I love being around at her house bcoz its antique or what Malays call it 'rumah papan'. And when you put it together with the raya stuff for example, ketupaat, lemaang, rendaang, and the oil lamps, Voila! You'll get the classic feel of Hari Raya back in the older times. To me, the wooden flight of stairs are cool too :3 Check it;
✌
Kitorang sempat lagi masak rendang ayam @ my grandparents's place in Klang. It was simply Deeelish! That night, we gathered at the frontyard to play some 'bunga api'. Yeayy! The next day baru kitorang berangkat ke Sitiawaan!!
Banyak tak, banyak tak? :3 I took part in the making of this masterpiece tauu? (first time, haha)
♥
The situation at Sitiawan was simply bustling with joy and laughter as my father's BIG BRANCHED family gathered at Wan and Atok Hussin's place. Because of that, Wan decided to slaughter one goat and goose, both raised by our big family, 'The Haji Ihsan Family' :> T'was actually the first time for any of us in the family to ever witness a cooked 'rendang angsa' in front of our very eyes O.O. My mom cooked it btw. (Bangga weh, hahah) Tok Uda actually insisted my mom to open an 'Exotic Food Restaraunt'. Mom widened her eyes at the big idea. Was he serious? Cooking a single goose was HARD enough!
dun dun duun!!
And so, we departed from Sitiawan the next day at roughly around 7.30 a.m. early to avoid the famously annoying traffic jam c: (y)
And its rainin in da morning. Lovin the smell of it^^
Happy Eid Mubarak to those who are still celebratin. (Eventho everyone is aware that Eidul Fitr is actually celebrated in the 1st of Syawal only) But, who cares?! The main thing is the victory celebration of our one month fasting in the month of Ramadhan and not forgetting the tightening rope of silaturahim that bonds the whole muslim ummah. And with that, I end this post with;
Assalamualaikum, muah!
